Policy

Deposits and Payments: Confetti & Cupcakes requires a $75 deposit to hold your party date. We prefer payment via credit card and you can securely make your payments online using Paypal on our Book A Party page. The balance of the party is due at the time of delivery of the party package to your home. At that time, we will accept cash or a personal check (see Insufficient Funds Fee below).

Rental Agreement: Our Rental Agreement must be signed at the time of delivery of the party package to your home.

Delivery & Pickup: For Rental Kits, Confetti & Cupcakes will deliver your party kit the day prior to or morning of your party and will pick it up the day after, or at our earliest convenience. For Hosted Parties, Confetti & Cupcakes will bring everything necessary for the party and will take everything back that belongs to us at the conclusion of the party.

Last Minute Party Fee: Any party requests received later than 72 hours before your party time is considered last minute and a $40 fee will be charged. For example, if your party is at noon on Saturday, any reservations made after noon on Wednesday are last minute.

Cancellations and Refunds: If you must cancel your party for any reason at any time, we will refund your deposit, minus a $25 cancellation fee. Please contact us immediately to cancel. We would be happy to work with you to reschedule. A new $75 deposit would be due at that time.

Insufficient Funds Fee: Confetti & Cupcakes will charge a $30 fee for any personal check that is returned to us for insufficient funds. Any future parties booked with you will require a credit card or cash payment.

Minimum & Maximum Attendance: Both our rental and hosted party packages are designed to entertain 8 children (including the child of honor). If less then 8 attend, you are still required to pay the listed party package amount. If you invite over 8 guests, an additional $15 charge will apply for each child. The absolute maximum number of guests that we can entertain is 16.

Assistant Fee: For hosted parties of 12 to 16 guests, an assistant will be necessary and a $30 fee will be charged.

Character Visits: Character visits must be scheduled a MINIMUM of 14 days prior to your party.  Payment in full is due at the time of booking.

Final Guest Count: If we spend the time and resources to prepare for your party, we will charge for it. As such, we will review the final guest count with you one day before the party. We will then prepare or and package up your party. If there is less then 100% attendance the day of your party, you will still be charged according to final count provided to Confetti & Cupcakes the day before.

Boys at Confetti & Cupcakes Parties: Boys are certainly welcome at all of our parties and we encourage them to participate in activities. If you do have any boy guests, please be sure to make us aware so that we can offer alternative dress up items (swords, shields, pirate bandanas, etc.).

Special Diets and/or Allergies: We are able to accommodate certain food allergies.  Please contact us directly for more details.  Although we will try to be as accommodating as we can, Confetti & Cupcakes is not liable for any reaction a child might have to any of our products or treats. Should any of your party guests have special diets or allergy concerns, it is the responsibility of the parents of that child to divulge that information and to provide an alternate treat for that child.

Liability for Damage: We will treat your home with great respect and consideration. However Confetti & Cupcakes and its staff will assume no responsibility or liability for accidents or damages that might occur in or to your home during the event. In addition, all party items are inspected by Confetti & Cupcakes staff prior to packaging them up for delivery to your home. Upon pick up, we will then inspect all party items again. You will be held financially liable for any damage incurred to any of our products. We expect our property to be treated gently and carefully so that many other children can enjoy it on their special day.

Mileage: Confetti and Cupcakes is located in the Reading, PA metro area.  Travel within a 30 mile radius of Reading (as calculated by MapQuest from the center of Reading) is included in our package price.  Travel to areas outside of this radius will be subject to a charge of $0.51 /mile.

Gratuity and Tipping: A gratuity or tip is not figured into the cost of the party. Tips are graciously accepted.
